"Tiled"
For a second you might think you've entered a kitchen and bath show. Then you notice that the forms Mr. Thyzel constructs using mostly white tiles are dysfunctionally eccentric. Elemental configurations - cubes, stacks, altars, cruciform shapes - have soap dishes, shower heads and chrome handles attached as purely decorative accents. It's like a collison between Brancusi and Duchamp. (Johnson)
